TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Preface

1.1 This document shall regulate the services related to accommodation, overnight stay, organization and provision of meals in the Hotel Complex.

1.2 The minimum period of hotel services provision shall be 1 day.

 

1.3 Definitions:

1.3.1 Grand Hotel Yerevan (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel”) is a hotel facility where hotel services are provided

1.3.2 Special Terms – a set of information provided to consumers by the organization providing Hotel services in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Armenia on tourism, advertising, personal data protection, disability, protection of consumer interests, which is required for the consumer to make an informed decision.

1.3.3 Guest – an individual spending at least one night in the Hotel.

1.3.4 Customer – an individual enjoying other services of the Hotel, including but not limited to room rental, catering services, etc.

1.3.5. Hotel suite – a separate property unit equipped for accommodation (overnight stay) of the Guest in the Hotel facility, including a sleeping place, room, Hotel suite.

1.3.6 Catering Service – a set of services aimed at satisfying the Guest’s needs for meals and recreation

1.3.7 Other Services – other services not related to the organization of meals and accommodation, including, but not limited to, swimming pool, SPA, transfer, banquet services, hall reservations, etc.

1.3.8. Internal regulations – terms intended for the consumer, which are not designed to regulate the relationship between the individual providing hotel services and its employees or individuals providing services to him/her. 1.3.9. Register – a register of data on persons enjoying accommodation-related services.

1.3.10. Personal data – any information relating to an individual that allows or may allow the direct or indirect identification of the person’s identity.

 

1.4. General information about the Hotel

1.4.7. The Hotel is an immovable monument of history and culture. It was built in 1927 by architect N.Buniatyan. Evidential document – Resolution N1616-N of the Government of the Republic of Armenia dated 14.12.2004 on approving the state list of immovable monuments of history and culture of Yerevan city.

1.4.8. The Hotel has staircases and 3 elevators,

1.4.9. Information on the implementation of current construction or renovation works in the hotel area is available on the hotel’s website.

1.4.10. Information on the availability of parking spaces is available on the hotel’s website.

1.4.11. Pets shall be allowed in the hotel suite only with the prior consent of the hotel. A fee of 15.000 AMD including VAT shall be charged for each pet per each booked day. Guests shall be responsible for the behavior of their pet and for any damage caused by the pet.

1.4.12. Children under 14 years of age shall be prohibited from entering the nominal hotel suites, where personal and unique property belongings to famous artists are stored.

1.4.13. Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by adults.

1.4.14. Guests shall be responsible for any damage caused to the Hotel property during their stay. The damage will be assessed by the Hotel and the Guest will be required to pay the appropriate amount.

1.4.15. Consumption of alcohol shall be permitted only in designated areas and any form of inappropriate behavior, including loud noise, disruptive behavior, or harassment toward guests or staff, shall be strictly prohibited.

1.4.16. In order to provide a comfortable environment for all Guests, we request that noise levels be kept to a minimum. Guests who cause a disturbance to others may be asked to leave the Hotel premises without a refund.

 

2. Hotel Suites:

2.1. The Hotel has a total of 103 Hotel Rooms as follows:

Classic Queen – 24 rooms
Classic King – 43 rooms
Classic King with Balcony – 4 rooms
Superior King – 4 rooms
Superior King with Balcony – 8 rooms
Deluxe Queen – 6 rooms
Deluxe Queen with Balcony – 5 rooms
Yerevan Grand Suite – 3 rooms
Charents Signature Grand Suite with Balcony – 1 room
Kochar Signature Grand Suite with Balcony – 1 room
Parajanov Signature Grand Suite with Balcony – 1 room
Khachaturian Signature Grand Suite with Balcony – 1 room
Aznavour Presidential Signature Suite with Balcony – 1 room
Yerevan Presidential Suite – 1 room

 

2.2. The current prices for hotel rooms are available on the Hotel’s website. The Hotel shall not be responsible for the prices published on other websites.

2.3. Information and photos about the terms and furnishings of the hotel rooms are available on the Hotel’s website,

2.4. There are safe deposit boxes in the hotel rooms that function with a password/code generated by the Guest. During the Guest’s occupancy of the Hotel room, the Hotel shall not be responsible for the integrity or loss of the Guest’s funds, valuables and personal belongings stored there.

2.5. In case of found items, the Hotel shall contact the Guest; the found item shall be stored for a maximum of 3 months.

 

3. Hotel room reservation and service procedure:

3.1. The Guest can reserve a Hotel room by personally visiting the Hotel, via the website, online platforms or by telephone,

3.2. Check-in time: after 14:00

3.3. Check-out time: until 12:00

3.4. Self-check-in is not available.

3.5. In case of early check-in and/or late check-out (until 19:00) (late check out until 19:00), an additional fee of 50% of the Hotel room price shall apply for each.

3.6. Before check-in or after check-out, the Guest can leave his/her luggage at the Hotel for storage for no more than 24 hours. The hotel shall not be responsible for the quantity of luggage and in no case for its contents.

 

4. Payments

4.1. Payment for a hotel suite can be made both in cash and in non-cash form, taking into account the requirements of the RA Law “On Non-Cash Transactions”.

4.2. Before providing the Hotel Room to the Guest, it must be paid in full.

4.3. If during his/her stay the Guest extends the number of days of using the Hotel Room, he/she is obliged to pay in advance for the extended days in full.

4.4. Information about the services included in the price of the Hotel Suite shall be published on the Hotel’s website.

 

5. Hotel reservation and cancellation policy

5.1. In case of cancellation of the reserved Hotel Suite, the amount paid in advance is subject to refund in the following amount:

5.1.1. If the cancellation is made at least 48 hours before arrival and the reservation was made directly through the hotel, then the amount shall be fully refunded,

5.1.2. If the cancellation is made no more than 1 day before arrival, then the cost of one day shall be charged, and the remaining amount, if available, shall be refunded.

5.2. The refund shall be made within 15 working days after receiving such a request from the authorized person,

5.3. In case of delay in booking the Hotel room, in case of groups and online reservations, special cancellation rules shall apply. For familiarization, the Guest can send an e-mail to sales@grandhotelyerevan.com.

 

6. Catering services provided by the Hotel

6.1. Breakfast:

6.1.1. Breakfast is served daily from 07:00 to 11:00

6.1.2. The Guest may, for an additional fee, order breakfast in his/her Hotel room.

6.1.3. The Breakfast menu is available on the Hotel’s website.

6.2. Restaurant service:

6.2.1. The Nairi restaurant operating in the Hotel is available from 12:00 to 23:00.

6.2.2. The restaurant menu is available on the Hotel’s website.

6.3. Serving of refreshing and alcoholic beverages:

6.3.1. Guests may order drinks in their Hotel room without time restrictions from the Hotel’s bar and restaurant.

6.3.2. The beverages menu is available on the Hotel’s website.

6.4. Guests shall not be allowed to bring food and beverages into the Hotel from elsewhere.

 

7. Other services provided by the Hotel

7.1. The following services are available to guests at no additional charge:

7.1.1. Sports club

7.1.2. Sauna, for which prior registration is required

7.1.3. Rooftop swimming pool, which has seasonal access

7.1.4. Wireless (WI-FI) Internet access

7.2. The following services are available at the hotel for an additional charge

7.2.1. Spa services

7.2.2. Transfer services

7.2.3. Laundry services

7.2.4. Restaurant and catering services

7.2.5. Hall reservation and banquet services

 

8. Confidentiality and personal data

8.1. In order to identify the Guest by the Hotel and improve the quality of the services provided to the latter, the Hotel needs to collect, enter, systematize, store, or otherwise process the Guest’s personal data /including using automated, technical means or without them/. Personal data about the Guests shall be registered in the register.

8.2. The legal basis for the processing of personal data shall be the contract concluded between the subject of personal data and the Hotel, by which the Guest gives the Hotel unconditional consent to process his/her personal data.

8.3. The personal data subject to processing are the name, surname, patronymic, date of birth, month, year, gender, passport data, residency, registration address, contact details,

8.4. The Hotel shall be entitled to process the Guests’ personal data during the term of the contract and store them for another three years, after which they are archived.

8.5. The Hotel ensures the confidentiality of the Guest’s personal data in accordance with the Legislation of the Republic of Armenia, taking into account the specifics of the service.

8.6. Personal data may be transferred to third parties only in cases and in accordance with the procedure prescribed by the Legislation of the Republic of Armenia.

8.7. The hotel’s common areas are monitored by cameras.

 

9. Procedure for submitting complaints

9.1. Complaints regarding the services provided must be submitted to the Hotel in advance,

9.2. Complaints shall be submitted to the Hotel in one of the following ways:

9.2.1. By submitting a complaint in writing to the Reception.

9.2.2. Via e-mail, by sending a letter to the Hotel’s e-mail address marketing@grandhotelyerevan.com,

9.2.3. By sending a written letter to the Hotel’s address.

9.3. The Hotel shall process only complaints submitted in accordance with the procedure specified in Clause 9.2.

9.4. Complaints shall be reviewed by the Hotel within 5 business days and the Guest shall be notified of the results at the e-mail address provided by him/her. In this case, the Guest shall bear the negative consequences of providing an incorrect or incomplete e-mail address.

9.5. In case the hotel rejects or partially satisfies the complaint, they shall be addressed to the state authorized body in the field of tourism, including the address of the website of the state authorized body in the field of tourism in the response to the complaint.

 

10. Other terms

10.1. The Hotel shall reserve the right to amend these special terms at any time. The amendments shall enter into force upon their publication on the Hotel’s website.

10.2. The special terms shall be governed and interpreted by the Legislation of the Republic of Armenia.
